Five bowls, 4.8 quarts down to 0.85, in glass 7 mm thick with a raised rim that gives a grip when your hands are wet. The large one takes a family salad or a batch of dough. The 2.2 quart handles batter and marinade, and the three small ones hold eggs, chopped onion and the leftovers nobody wants to move into another container. Lids come with all five.

The glass runs from minus 4 to 1040 degrees Fahrenheit, which covers the freezer, the fridge, the microwave and the oven. Thick walls and a thickened rim let you lift a loaded bowl one-handed and pour from it without the edge biting into your fingers.
Lids off, the bowls sit inside one another and the lids nest in their own stack. A five-piece set that stores as one column is the version of this you can keep in a normal cabinet instead of spreading over two shelves.
Each bowl has a BPA-free lid that presses on for refrigerator storage, so the bowl you mixed in is the bowl that goes in the fridge, with no transfer and no second dish. The lids are the one part with limits: take them off before the microwave or the oven.
Counter during prep, fridge after, table for serving, since clear glass with a lid does not look like storage. The wide mouth on the 4.8 quart leaves room to toss a salad or knead dough, and the smooth interior rinses clean. Bowls are dishwasher safe once the lids come off.
