The Small-Space Guide
Most storage fails at the measuring stage, not the buying stage. UFORU builds for the gaps other furniture ignores, so this guide starts where the range starts: with a tape measure. Three numbers — width, depth, height — and the awkward spot in your home turns out to have an organizer shaped exactly like it.
Match the space to the piece

Measure like the factory does
- Width — at the narrowest point, not the opening. Baseboards and pipes steal centimeters; measure at the height the organizer will actually occupy.
- Depth — to the wall, minus anything that sticks out (outlets, hoses, trim).
- Height — to the first obstacle: a counter lip, a window sill, a shelf above. Vertical racks earn their keep here, so measure generously upward.
- Doors and drawers — leave the swing room. A cabinet with magnetic doors needs a few inches in front; a rolling cart needs a clear path to roll out.
Three habits that keep organizers working
Load heavy low. Tiered pieces stay steady when the bottom tier carries the weight — detergent down, cotton pads up. Wheels are for loading. Roll a slim cabinet out to fill it, then park it; constant rolling on a loaded top tier is how tall pieces tip. Wash plastic cold. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth keep clear plastic clear; hot water and abrasives cloud it. That is the whole maintenance manual.
