The cup waits under the outlet
No hunting through a drawer with rice in one hand. The measuring cup lives in position under the dispensing mouth, catches the portion as it falls, and lifts out to carry the rice to the pot. Put it back and the station is reset for tomorrow.

Transparent from lid to base
There is no small window and no panel: the whole container is clear, so the level reads from across the kitchen and a refill never catches you out halfway through a recipe. Rice, grains and other dry food all read the same way through the wall.
