Three bags, three loads
Each compartment holds a removable mesh bag with dual handles and side buckles. Unclip one, lift it out, carry it to the washer and leave the frame standing where it is. The bags go into the machine themselves when they need it, which is something most fabric hampers cannot offer.

Eight rods against the sag
Eight support rods run through the corner sleeves with thick Oxford fabric stretched over them. A loaded hamper keeps its rectangle instead of slumping into the shape of the pile inside, and that is what lets three sections stay three sections rather than merging at the top.

A flip-top over the pile
The lid flips up to take a toss and drops back down. Laundry stops being a visual event in a bedroom or a dorm, and the closed top stops collecting the loose things people set on open hampers, which then fall in and get washed by accident.
