Plates break in the gap between the cupboard and the moving truck. This set closes it. Four cases are cut to plate diameter, from dinner plates up to 10.8 inches down to saucers at 6.5, each one a rigid PP board shell with a foam core and a soft woven lining. A mug box comes with them. Stack the cases on a high shelf for the service you use twice a year, or carry the same stack out to the van on moving day.

Dinner plates up to 10.8 inches, salad up to 9, dessert up to 8, saucers up to 6.5. Each size gets its own case instead of one deep box where the small plates rattle around the big ones. Load by diameter and the stack packs tight.
Twelve felt protectors ship with every plate case, so each plate rests on its own pad rather than rim to rim against the next one. That is the scratch that ruins a glazed set, and it happens in storage as often as it happens in transit.
The mug organizer measures 15.8 by 12.6 inches and stands 5 inches tall, with room for twelve. Mugs are the awkward part of any dinner service: no two of them stack safely and the handles catch on everything. Here each one has a place to sit.
These live in the top of a hall closet, on the high cabinet shelf, or in the back of an RV. The outside is fine cotton-linen over rigid PP board; the inside is soft woven fabric that will not scratch glaze. Reinforced zippers close the case all the way around, so the stack stays dust-proof between holidays, and a transparent window label tells you which service is in which case.
