Two containers, both 2.6 quarts, both PET, both closing with a twist. The matched pair is the argument: flour in one and sugar in the other, or kibble in one and treats in the other, stacking squarely because the footprints are the same. Twisting the lid compresses a food-grade silicone ring into the rim, and the seal holds until you twist it back.

Graded sets photograph better; a matched pair stacks better. Same diameter, same height, so the top container sits flat on the bottom one and neither overhangs the shelf edge. It suits two staples you go through at about the same rate, kept side by side.
The interior has no square corners for flour to pack into, and the mouth is wide enough to take a hand and a sponge. Residue that would survive in a square container rinses out of this one, which matters most with anything oily like nuts or ground coffee.
Rinsing by hand is quicker, but these do take the top rack of a dishwasher, which not every sealed container will. Keep them off the bottom rack: PET and the heating element at the base of a machine make a poor pairing, and the silicone ring likes heat no better.
Pantry shelf, cabinet, or the counter if you like reading the contents, since PET is clear. Cereal, rice, flour, sugar, pasta, snacks or pet kibble all keep in them. BPA-free PET does not carry odors from one fill into the next, so the container that held coffee can hold oats afterward.
